Dead ass. Pun intended.
It’s time for the Renaissance of our mindset in this season. A rebirth of the version of you who dreamed without limits. This is the reclamation of your power and the vision you created before the world imposed its limits on you.
As I sat with Spirit today, there was this overwhelming message that the Ancestors wanted to remind many of us of in this season.
Don’t let these MF stop your mission.
Some of us have allowed what’s going on in the world to be our reference point for what Spirit is working on within us. Spirit is reminding us to cut that shit out. Spirit always has the final say, not our circumstances.
Boats are designed to keep whatever it contains afloat. Any damage to that boat reduces the integrity of the container. Without proper maintenance and care, it becomes easier for the barrier between the outside and the vessel itself to erode and crumble. The barrier that once enforced distinction now enforces blurred lines that make it difficult to tell what belongs to you and what doesn’t. (note: this isn’t about boats.)
What’s become the most damaging part of this is that many of us have stopped dreaming altogether. We’ve become so immersed in what’s going on around us that we’ve slowly ceased giving ourselves permission to dream. What’s worse than that, is that we’ve began to excuse this behavior:
“Well, Spirit I know I initially wanted ‘XYZ’. But now things are so crazy and I don’t know how it’ll happen, so if you could just do xyz (a lesser version of your initial dream), that’ll suffice.”
We begin aligning more with some version of the quote above to make ourselves smaller. As if Spirit has limits. As if what you’re manifesting has to sit on the back burner because the rest of the world is seemingly on fire. (Not all your fault, just the design of the system). Spirit is demanding we save ourselves from this slippery slope before the ‘XYZ’ becomes a distant memory, and we settle for what we limited ourselves to experience.
If Spirit gave YOU the vision, then you have everything you need to see it through. Just as you are.
We don’t have to hold it all. Historically, Black women have proven to have the ability to be everything to everyone else. Spirit is now moving us into a seasons of being seen and supported. The dream isn’t all on our back to see through. We can be supported in this season, and Spirit is here to see you have it…if you’d only allow it.
Decolonize your mindset around Spirit.
The only limits that exist are those we build for ourselves. Spirit needs no one’s permission. Spirit’s resources are infinite. Access to this level of abundance IS your birthright. Abundant not just in material, but abundant in expansion. Abundant in our ability to dream and manifest like never before.
Have you ever stopped to think there’s a bigger reason to why ‘XYZ’ was on your radar before the world began looking the way it does now? Sometimes, the journey itself holds more significance than the destination. The crave for that bigger purpose, it may just be aligned with exactly what you need to thrive through these times.
Reclaim your power and get back into the drivers seat, sis.
If we solely allow our circumstances to dictate our direction, we’ve already lost. Essentially, when the world is at the helm of our lives, it can only drive us into the destiny it designed for us. This is DANGEROUS. Daring to dream and follow through is such a radical form of resistance. Here’s some journal prompts to get us back on track:
- In what areas of my life have I compromised on Spirit’s ability to see my wildest dreams come true?
- Ex: If your dream was to become a doctor but you switched gears to be something else, explore this candidly, without judgment.
- Limits aside, what do you truly desire for yourself?
- What offerings can you give your future self that aligns you with making those dreams come true? How are you meeting Spirit halfway?
- Ex: If I’m manifesting to be debt free, my offering to myself would be to create a budget and stick to it. This shows Spirit I have good stewardship over what I already have, and that I will manage increase with the same respect.
I’ll close with this.
Give Spirit a chance to show you better than this post can tell you. All of this sounds good in theory, but I hope you dare to try. Dust off plan A and see it through. Tap into your inner ‘G’. Bring that ‘dawg’ out of you that at one point wanted your dreams to manifest as bad as you wanted to breathe. Let NOTHING get in your way. SPIRIT ALREADY SAID THEY CAN’T STOP YOU. Reignite that flame inside of you and trust yourself enough to see it through. Hope this helps. You got this!
