Bright side? It doesn’t have to be.

For this week’s post, Spirit led me to pull a few cards and this message feels like just what’s needed for a lot of us right now. Take what resonates, leave the rest.

The Message:

Still haven’t addressed that hyper-independence wound, have you?

Spirit has a funny way of putting us in circumstances where our shadows and things we sweep under the rug become front and center. You’re burning the candle at both ends, here.

3’s may also be significant for you, and 3’s involve community, support, collaboration, and creativity.

Here’s the thing. You’ve got plans. You’ve laid a foundation for what you want your life to look like and all of that is great. Whether it’s a life of pleasure and play, starting the business, moving, going back to school, or a combination of any of those things. You know exactly what it is you want to accomplish and honestly, it’s commendable considering you’ve spent a great number of years living your life based on what you thought it had to become for you to be successful.

For some reason, you still feel like something’s missing. Spirit is showing me the meme of Madea where she goes, “she don’t see us?” It’s like your Spirits are watching you do things the hard way, carrying these big dreams of yours on your back and this journey no longer feels as rewarding as you thought it would.

You’ve asked for help in the past and have been let down. Listen, I get it. Folks can be fickle, and we can’t expect others to see the significance of our goals and dreams when the vision wasn’t given to them. But you’ve taken those experiences and cloaked yourself in this identity that says asking for help is asking to be let down. Even when it comes to your Spirits. Logically, you know they’ve always been there for you and always will be. But there’s still this hyper-independence wound that shows up like a snake oil salesman who’ll get you to believe anything as long as it makes you feel good.

For this next phase of your journey, the remedy is within the command. We’re calling things forth as though they were. The dream doesn’t need changing, just the approach. In this season, Spirit is asking us to not get so caught up in deconstructing this wound that we put our dreams on pause. The remedy right now is to move forward with your energy open enough to receive the helping hand you’ve been resisting.

You think you’re the first and only person in this world who wants to do what you’re manifesting? Why reinvent the wheel when you can collaborate with folks who have been there, done that, & got the t-shirt to prove it? You’re working too hard when you don’t have to. Learn from those who’ve come before you, then put your own spin to it. Add your own writings to the walls for those who’ll come after you to learn and pour into for the next person.

Open. your. mouth.

“Spirit, align me with the community and counsel I need to lighten this load.”

“Make this journey as enjoyable and enlightening as the destination.”

Our purpose extends beyond the pinnacle of our manifestations. The real work is in learning and healing from belief systems that no longer serve us. It’s time to detach from believing you have to do this all on your own. People are going to disappoint you, my dear. Just don’t let it be you disappointing yourself when your Spirits are telling you to open up, and receive. You got this! Hope this helps.

With love,
